Kratom Gummies

Mmmm, good. For my money, there are few treats in this world more immediately satisfying than a gummy fruit snack.

And with kratom thrown into the mix, that formula just got a little bit sweeter.

That’s right: kratom gummies are here, and they’re one heck of an enjoyable way to get your regular dose of kratom.

What Are Kratom Gummies?

As the name suggests, kratom gummies are a type of gummy candy that has been infused with a dose of natural kratom alkaloids.

Just like traditional gummies, they come in a variety of flavors that make them an enjoyable treat. That’s an especially nice benefit for taking kratom, which often has a rich, bitter, and earthy taste. Experience the benefits of kratom with half the effort!

Why Take Kratom Gummies?

Because they’re delicious, of course!

For real, though, the main benefit that kratom gummies have is their delicious taste. Much like kratom shots, kratom gummies combine a potent dose of premium kratom with a host of delicious flavors that make your dose a treat.

Of course, premium kratom gummies also have all the benefits of all-natural kratom. For instance, taking kratom gummies for discomfort relief is an excellent option for those looking for on-demand treatment that they’re sure to enjoy.

Kratom gummies generally stand out for these reasons:

  • Delicious, often fruity candy flavor
  • Pre-measured dosage means no prep or cleanup
  • Easy on-the-go dosing, at work, home, or anywhere
  • They’re tasty (yes, I said it already, but it bears repeating)

Making DIY Kratom Gummies

Making your own kratom gummies is surprisingly simple. In fact, it could be as easy as simply adding a dash of your favorite kratom powder to a traditional gummy recipe!

But the thing is that kratom powder isn’t water soluble, so you’ll have undissolved kratom powder in your gummies. That’ll result in both pockets of bitter powder and inconsistent dosage from gummy to gummy.

To combat that, we recommend first making a simple, unflavored kratom tea extract, then using that to infuse your gummies with kratom alkaloids!

Here’s the two-part recipe for making perfect kratom gummies at home.

Part 1: Unflavored Kratom Extract

While it is possible to get your hands on liquid kratom extract, using a tea to make your gummies will allow for better dosage control, ensuring you don’t overdo it. A kratom tea extract is also a little easier to work with.

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 or 3 cups of water
  • ½ of a large, fresh lemon, or 2 – 2 ½ tablespoons lemon juice (you may use another acid, but lemon juice was chosen for flavor)
  • Your preferred strain of kratom powder
  • Something to strain the finished tea, such as a tea strainer or a coffee filter

What To Do:

  1. Add the water to a saucepan, bring it just to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
  2. Squeeze the half lemon into the simmering water, or add the 2 – 2 ½ tablespoons lemon juice.
  3. Ensure that the water is simmering and not boiling.
  4. Then, add your intended dose of kratom powder.
  5. Keep the tea mixture simmering for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring regularly.
  6. Remove the saucepan from the heat source, then carefully strain the tea to remove the kratom sediment.
  7. Allow the kratom-infused tea to cool.

Part 2: Making Kratom Gummies

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 cup fruit juice (choose your favorite flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin
  • 2-3 tablespoons sugar (adjust according to your taste)
  • Gummy candy molds
  • Simple kratom tea (see above)

What To Do:

  1. Pour the fruit juice and your intended dose of kratom tea into a small saucepan and heat it over medium-low heat until it becomes warm. Do not bring it to a boil.
  2. Gradually sprinkle the gelatin over the warm fruit juice and tea mix while stirring continuously to ensure it dissolves evenly.
  3. Add the sugar to the saucepan and continue stirring until it completely dissolves.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly, but do not allow it to set.
  5. While the mixture is still warm, pour it into the gummy candy molds. You can use a dropper or a small spoon to fill the molds.
  6. Place the molds in the refrigerator and let them set for about 30 minutes to 1 hour until firm.
  7. Once the gummies have set, gently remove them from the molds. If they are sticking, you can lightly dust them with cornstarch or a mixture of cornstarch and sugar to prevent sticking.
  8. Store the gummy candies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.

Feel free to customize this recipe by adding flavors, colors, or even some natural sweeteners like honey or agave syrup. Enjoy your homemade gummy candies!
