Candied Oranges With Kratom Powder

It’s no surprise: here at Kratom Spot, we love all things kratom. And every time we find a new way to spice up our kratom routine, improve kratom’s effectiveness, or make kratom more enjoyable, we jump at the occasion.

In this article, we present a delightful recipe for a candied kratom treat that’s sure to make your regular dose more enjoyable and effective. The recipe in question? Candied oranges with kratom extract!

It’s a delicious, simple recipe that not only makes your kratom more enjoyable but also enhances its effectiveness by harnessing a natural kratom potentiator. Let’s dive right in!

Benefits of Candied Orange Kratom Extract

This tasty, simple DIY dish is all about making your kratom more enjoyable and effective.

In terms of flavor, this recipe does a remarkable job of making your kratom dose more delicious. We bring a sweet citrus flavor dashed up with a delightful dusting of sugar. This sweet, rich, natural combination of flavors is an excellent complement to kratom’s earthy taste — and a surefire way to make kratom more palatable, even for those who dislike its raw taste.

Best of all the benefits aren’t just for flavor — this dish will also subtly improve the potency and effectiveness of your dose!

That’s because citrus fruit is a natural kratom potentiator, helping your body to more actively and effectively use your dose of kratom. So by combining kratom with orange slices, like we do in this recipe, you can subtly but meaningfully enhance your kratom experience — making your dose more effective, longer lasting, and more enjoyable.

Why Use Kratom Extract?

In this recipe, I’ll recommend using one of our Ultra Kratom strains. These aren’t your everyday kratom powders — they’re actually boosted by an extra helping of kratom alkaloids, which are extracted and then naturally infused into our already highest-quality kratom. The result is, simply put, the very strongest kratom powder you’ll find anywhere.

Of course, you don’t need to make this candied orange with kratom extract; any kratom powder will do.

But for this recipe, a kratom extract is the right choice. And the simple reason is flavor.

These candied kratom oranges are meant to be a delicious, sweet treat. Kratom is a key ingredient — but too much kratom is going to detract from the natural sweetness of the recipe and make it taste just a bit too earthy. So by using a kratom extract, we’re able to up the potency of the kratom while minimizing the dose’s influence on sweet, confectionary flavor.

But if you’re looking for a more subtle experience — or one that highlights kratom’s flavor more centrally — then, by all means, shake things up with a different kratom powder!

Candied Orange Kratom Extract Recipe

So, without further ado, here’s everything you’ll need to make your own delicious, effective candied kratom oranges!

What You’ll Need

  • Your choice of kratom powder or kratom extract powder
  • Ice
  • Water
  • 4 small oranges or similar sweet citrus fruit (tangelos, mandarin, etc.)
  • 4 cups of granulated sugar, plus a bit more for coating

What To Do

  1. Slice your oranges into thin, even strips, ~3mm thick.
  2. Fill a large bowl with ice water.
  3. Put ~4 cups of (non-ice) water into a large saucepan and bring to a boil on high. Add orange slices and boil for 2 minutes.
  4. Transfer the orange slices into the ice water, then discard the boiled orange water.
  5. In the same saucepan, place ~4 cups of (non ice) water and the 4 cups of sugar. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar is fully dissolved.
  6. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add orange slices to the water-sugar mix, and simmer for 45-60 minutes (until rinds are translucent). Gently stir every 15 minutes to ensure orange slices are evenly coated in sugar water.
  7. Place orange slices on a cooling rack and allow them to sit until dry, up to 24 hours.
  8. Dip orange slices in granulated sugar, then sprinkle a small amount of kratom extract powder over them to taste/desired dosage.
