Yoga and Kratom

Yoga isn’t exactly what you’d call an “extreme sport” — but it’s far more demanding, both for body and mind, than you might imagine. It’s a subtly taxing, deeply rewarding form of exercise and meditation that requires focus, calm, and fitness.

Could kratom and yoga be the perfect pairing to unlock the best that practicing yoga has to offer? Indeed, consuming kratom actually has a lot to offer the aspiring yogi.

Kratom and Yoga: Benefits for Body and Mind

Yoga is a demanding form of exercise and meditation. It requires focus, fitness, and complete presence in one’s body and mind. And when any of these suffer, so too will your yoga practice!

Luckily, there are a number of ways that kratom can help. The strain and dosage you choose will make a difference (more on that below), but kratom’s effects can be a powerful boon to yoga practitioners.

That said, please note that kratom vendors like Kratom Spot are barred from talking directly about the effects of kratom strains. As such, we encourage you to start your research on strains’ effects at reputable sources like the American Kratom Association.

Instead, we’ll simply note some of the things that can get in the way of a smooth yoga session — while making no claims about kratom’s effects:

Sore Muscles and Body Aches

Yoga is all about precise, controlled poses and range of motion. And there’s nothing to screw that up like aches in your joints and muscles.

Energy Levels

Finding the motivation to practice and the energy to keep at it isn’t always a given. Some days, you just don’t have that get-up-and-go.

Calm and Focus

All the energy in the world won’t give you the perfect yoga session. You also need clear, calm focus to execute your poses and keep yourself centered.

Easier said than done.
