This is actually my favorite strain of all I’ve tried (red, white and green). Also, I’m not sure of the actual differences between the Thai strain and others, but the Red Thai is the best fit, so far. it works well for me.
I prefer capsules, because I don’t like drinking the gritty powder. I have a herniated disc in my lower lumbar spine with a torn posterior annulus fibrosis. I’ve had an epidural shot of prednisone which works quite well, but it doesn’t last forever. Aside from other minor chronic pain, I don’t believe long-term prescription for synthetic opiate pain meds is the best option, as of course your body develops a tolerance. With the Kratom, it is milder but effective, plus the red Thai strain does not make me drowsy, which is necessary for my life and lifestyle.
The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because I wish the capsules were a bit stronger/more mg’s per pill, as I have to take at least 4 to feel the effect, but it does indeed work!

i use the red vein to help me o sleep. I can't say that alone it made me fall asleep. But if I take 3 capsules with 50 mg of Benadryl, I can be assured that I will fall asleep within an hour and sleep soundly for about 6 hours.
What I noticed that it is most helpful with is pain. I pulled a muscle in my left shoulder that is very painful. The only thing that relieves the pain is the red thai krampton. No, it doesn't make me feel at all euphoric, but is an effective analgesic.

This product is key to helping me break off of tramadol, which I have been on 13 years because of not being able to.
